Dave Marver is CEO and co-founder of VICIS, Inc., a Seattle-based sports technology company whose ZERO1 football helmet is currently being used by players on 28 NFL clubs, 125 NCAA programs, and 1000+ high schools. The helmet was ranked first in NFL/NFLPA Helmet Performance Testing in 2017, 2018, and 2019 and was named one of TIME Magazine’s 25 Best Inventions of 2017. The company’s ZERO1 YOUTH helmet is the first football helmet specifically optimized for kids and is the highest rated helmet in the history of Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings. Named one of Fast Company’s 2018 Most Innovative Companies, VICIS is funded and advised by current and former professional athletes, as well as renowned medical experts in neurosurgery, sports and pediatric medicine.
Dave previously served as CEO of Cardiac Science Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed company with over 600 employees. He also spent 14 years and held a variety of senior leadership positions in the US and Europe with Medtronic, Inc., a medical technology company. Dave is a graduate of Duke University and has an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA. He resides in Seattle, USA with his wife and two children.
