Stephane Fillastre was appointed to the newly created position of Head of Brand, Licensing & Retail in January 2013.
Reporting to Alexandre Gueschir FIA Marketing & Events Director, Fillastre is specifically in charge of overall FIA Brand strategy (creation, registration/protection & deployment across the organisation), Licensing sales development programmes and Retail implementation (web and upcoming on events sales). The brand portfolio of the FIA is covering all FIA championships such as safety products via unique homologation procedures, the FIA specific events such Club dedicated FIA Sport & FIA Mobility Conferences and the prestigious annual gala, the FIA Prize Giving, finishing with the Mobility Campaign programmes.
In addition to those brand related missions, Fillastre is in charge of innovative programmes such as Esports deployment & FIA Smart Driving Challenge, the championship of the every day driver.
The FIA Marketing & Events Department is reporting to FIA CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Natalie Robyn and does operate as a service Support department for Mobility & Sport Departments but also as the innovation department for new projects (Track to Road, Innovative Funding Mechanism etc…).
Prior to this, Stephane was Commercial Director Football & Senior Director Retail & Business Development EMEA at Warner Bros Consumer Products, a Warner Bros Division, for 12 years, supervising Uefa EURO 2008™ & Uefa EURO 2012™ Licensing & Retail programmes across 10 countries and actively managing a dedicated team in charge of Retail relationships. This was including the successful launch of franchises such as Harry Potter, Batman and Scooby Doo.
Stephane leaves in a small village on the border of the Annecy Lake where he can enjoy with his wife & their 2 kids, ski, football, and various water sports
