Mya Thompson Doelling joined The International Olympic Committee in 2019 as a Manager of Global Partnerships for the IOC’s TOP program. Mya currently manages the P&G and Omega global TOP programs as well as leads the IOC’s new framework for purpose-led marketing programs. Mya joined the IOC following four years as a Director at United Entertainment Group (UEG) after graduating from NYU Stern School of Business with a focus in Marketing and Strategy. While at Stern, Mya gained a wealth of experience and knowledge of the world of strategic partnership through positions atGlideslope (Olympic sponsorship consulting) Roc Nation (brand strategy) and the Barclays Center/Brooklyn Nets (marketing partnerships).
Passionate about the ways in which sports can improve communities and to inspire millions of people to reach their untapped potential , Mya began her career as Director of Operations for the Michael Phelps Foundation. Mya’s passion for the sports and the Olympic Games started long before she worked for the Phelps Foundation—she grew up running track & field, attended her first Games in Sydney, Australia as a Make-A-Wish Foundation recipient and carried the Olympic torch for the 2002 Salt Lake City Games. Currently living in both Lausanne, Switzerland and Paris, France where her husband works, Mya holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
