With nearly two decades of experience in sports marketing, Matt has a storied track record of delivering industry leading marketing and commercial success for some of the world’s biggest and most iconic brands. Most recently as the Consumer Marketing Director at Manchester United, he played a formative role in establishing the clubs D2C function, where he was responsible for building direct relationships with their 1.1 billion fans and followers worldwide. Prior to this, he was Head of Marketing for the International Olympic Committee across the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 games, was Brand Director for Nike Football in London where he leveraged partnerships with Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Liverpool FC, The FA and The Premier League to further extend Nike’s brand leadership position, and he was also Global Brand Director for EA Sports FIFA, where he oversaw a series of unique athlete, club and celebrity partnerships that contributed to the franchise becoming one of the biggest entertainment properties on the planet during his tenure.
