Dr. Radhika Murti

Dr. Radhika Murti is the Director of IUCN’s Centre for Society and Governance. In this role,  Radhika provides programmatic oversight and leadership to IUCN’s work on Water and Land Management, Environmental Law, Human Rights, Culture, Heritage, Urban ecosystems and Youth engagement. Radhika is also responsible for coordinating IUCN’s work on Nature-based Solutions (NbS), having co-authored the IUCN Global Standard for NbS. Originally from Fiji Islands, she has a background in Forestry Science, land tenure conflicts and community based climate change adaptation.
